Memorizing a word & its translation Fr-En / En-Fr
In our course it would be a translation from French to English
A set of 20 cards (Colored on hidden side!)
Cards are divided into 10 colors (2 per color)
Each two cards
- have the same color
&
- have the same word (Fr-En / En-Fr)
&
- have the same image
on one card the word would be in French
on the other card the word would be in English
Cards are turned over and the top is neutral for all cards
Participants should take turns turning over 2 cards, trying to find the same color of card (or the same word translated from French to English)
If the cards don't match, then the colored side is hidden again and the turn goes to the next participant
The game consists of remembering the location of the colors/translations and opening them in 2 moves
The idea is to learn while playing to memorize the location of the cards and to learn the translation written on the cards that are turned over.

Pupils have to fill the animal category beside the image
1st column is for French language
2nd column is for English language
