  • Surprising elements in my environment

    Pupils and teacher go out to photograph elements of the environment close to the school: road signs, houses (facade and roof), plants, animals….

    The pupils nominate the amazing objects to be photographed and teacher (or pupils) takes the picture.




         






    • Sorting the photos taken

      Sort using a digital tool (learningapps) to identify geometric shapes in the photos taken and associate them with figures, discover the terms used.

       The teacher selects the appropriate photos.

      Variations:

      locate one shape at a time, or several.

      decrease or increase the number of photos processed.

      • A second walk

        Construction of frames (circle, square, rectangle, triangle) with tree branches and second walk outside using these frames to take new photos in order to identify the figures in the environment close to the school.
